Arsenal’s 5-0 success against Crystal Palace at the weekend has certainly lifted the mood at the club following their recent struggles – and there could be some more good news to come.
There were fears on Saturday about the fitness of Declan Rice when the midfielder limped off during the second half against Palace, with Mikel Arteta confirming after the game that the England international had felt something in his hamstring.
But initial signs are that Rice has avoided serious injury and could be available for next Tuesday night’s trip to Nottingham Forest.
I discuss the latest surrounding Rice’s fitness in today’s episode of Inside Arsenal, while also giving an update on Thomas Partey’s return, with the midfielder hoping to join in with full training this week following thigh surgery.
Jurrien Timber’s return is also discussed, while I also look at Jakub Kiwior’s future and reflect on a dramatic day at the Africa Cup of Nations.
