Spurs sunk again! Player ratings, Arteta’s reaction and Arsenal’s £55m bargain
Hello everyone. What a fine Monday morning it is thanks to yet another win for Arsenal at Spurs.
I have to admit, I’m not a big fan of north London derbies. I dread them every season. I just want them over with as quickly as possible.
It doesn’t matter how old I get, I still wake up on the day of the game with that same feeling of nausea and dread. The thought of losing is just so horrible.
And yesterday was no different. Given the injuries and the ridiculous suspension for Declan Rice, I was not feeling great as I made my way to the game.
But what was I worried about? No Martin Odegaard, no Declan Rice, no problem…. This Arsenal team just know how to win these type of games now. Even with key players missing.
And that is the theme of today’s episode of Inside Arsenal as I react to yesterday’s win and pay homage to Gabriel Magalhaes and William Saliba, while also going through all the big talking points from the game.
I also look at what Mikel Arteta had to say afterwards and go over my Arsenal player ratings. Enjoy!
