Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus gives an interview after the win against Sevilla.

Gabriel Jesus set for scan | Sevilla reaction | Thomas Partey injury worry

Arsenal have returned home from Seville following Tuesday night’s 2-1 victory in the Champions League and will now nervously be waiting on the results of a scan on the injured hamstring of striker Gabriel Jesus.

The Brazilian was the star of the show in Spain, producing a brilliant piece of play to set up the opening goal for Gabriel Martinelli before scoring a sensational second himself, which proved to be the match winner for Mikel Arteta’s side.

But he was forced off with a hamstring injury during the second half and revealed after the game that he would have a scan to determine the extent of the issue on Wednesday. The striker said:

“I felt something. Let’s see. I did some tests with the physio, it looks not that big, but let’s see. I have a scan, maybe tomorrow [Wednesday]. I’m pretty sure it will be nothing.”

In today’s episode of Inside Arsenal, I give my thoughts on the crucial victory for Arsenal and discuss the big talking points from the game at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium, including the injury concerns over Jesus and Thomas Partey, who sat out the trip due to a ‘muscular issue’.
